Yes, I've got some patches in a few fields. I would say I'm not winning the war yet. I've planted earlier the past couple years and definitely struggled with some patches, but the yields have also been a lot better (though I can't be sure that's the only reason) I'm gonna try later planting to combat the worst fields. I'm curious if summer planted cover mix after small grains would combat them better than my usual frost seeded clover. I am very aggressive at mowing the clover a few times to cut down on seed production. They are an amazing weed! The zapper is definitely useful to me, but not a silver bullet by any means. I have flamer as well but really don’t enjoy using it.
