Hello all,
Saw the post earlier about welding on a mounted tire and was surprised how many people were apposed to it. Naturally hot air will expand and make pressure, is there more to it then that? Risk of tire releasing or starting some chemical reaction to excelerate the processes?

If its just hot air why couldn't you simply pull the stem or break the bead and put a block in it? Just control the heat? Etc.
I don’t think people read the all post. He ask in the last sentence why you couldn’t pull the stem and break bead. If you did that it can’t explode because there’s no pressure.
Just curious.
