I had a teacher from Elmore MN who got some of us freshly graduated guys a job at The Green Giant canning factory at Blue Earth MN. My job was pest control in the fields. She was a waitress in a little café 70 miles away in Lyle MN where I spent some time driving peas combines when pest control was slow. 3 1/2 years later we married. That was 57 years ago.
