Fruita CO | My girl friend's family moved to Metairie LA when we were dating for about a year. quite a culture shock for this Colorado ranch kid first time I stepped off the plane in New Orleans & my clothes stuck to me, didn't know what humidity was...I was raised at 7000 ft. above sea level,, & their house was 5 ft. BELOW sea level...ended up getting married in Metairie, visited the French quarter a few times. Fun place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there...
Wife's sister lived in NO for many years, we visited a couple times. | |
