So you had a flood then a drought right after that? That’s interesting. They handout payments for that? Wow, so where’s the risk to the farmer?
Yeah, that can happen, last spring we were record late planting, had like 3 fieldwork days in May, rained all the time, most everything planted all through June. So no root development, diseases taking over all to low ground, then by middle to end of July the rain shut off and needed rain badly in August but it didn’t come, so crop had stress of opposite kind at end of growing season. Why is it so hard to see how this could happen? |
