NW Iowa | We financed our seed through Pioneer for a few years. The first year we did this, when we were ready to pay it off my wife called Pioneer to confirm what the interest part of the bill was for that day. The lady on the other end highly recommended a money transfer from our bank instead of sending a check. They had to deal with way too many unhappy farmers who sent a check that did not arrive at Pioneer and were charged extra interest. This was 10 years ago. | |
