Subject: RE: Boot high Cedars in Central Mo

Eastern NE KS
Get them a quickly as you can. Our invasion started 30 years ago and it continues today. Fire can be your friend, winter burn may help with subsequent fescue reduced yield. Spring burns really set cool season grasses back.

Long handled pruners are also called lopers. I bought two sets of cheap ones before I got a good set. Some farm shows offer lopers with bent jaws for less squatting.

Eastern Red Cedar will take everything you got if you give them a chance. If you are over whelmed with cedars, work on the sparcely populated area first to save more acres but understand very dollar you invest today saves $10 in 5-10 years. You have about 8-10 years before your boot level cedars start producing their own seed.
