NW Iowa | You guys in the south have a lot of interesting history. We always enjoy stopping at southern historical locations during our travels. My part of northwest Iowa was the last area of the state to be settled because of what we call the Prairie potholes, little swamps everywhere. Nothing much was happening in my neighborhood till the late 1870’s and life has been pretty boring even with habitation since then. | |
