Banker said he had the girl for me, just stop by the bank and he would introduce us.
I thought sure, I’ve heard that before.
Couple days later I stopped by Steak and Shake for a carry out. Couple of girls I knew that worked at the bank had gone to the same high school, were in there with a girl I thought was cute and had never seen before.
Couple days later I ran into one of the girls and asked about her friend. She had gone to a different high school.
I thought what are the chances.
Couple days later went by the bank look over, and there she sets, smiled at her and went over to talk to the banker. He introduces us, I get her number. We have a date a week later, last week of a January. Engaged in July, married the end of November, it’ll be 47 years this November.
