We poured the pad ourselves. 800 ton capacity. I think we had 12k in the pad, another 6k in the block walls. Its been money well spent. Could easily add capacity as well.
Bags were costing 1200 a year, we had an older bagger we didn't want to update, plus more labor to handle the plastic we feed the 4 or 5 inches of waste and roll on.
If the cows go away will just put another shed up over the pad. | |
