As I was replying earlier, I wondered if this was more your question? I don't know how much longer or higher it will go, but we still have a small cow herd. Depends on how much you are attached to your own herd and genetics, vs selling now and maybe buying back in cheaper. But the calves those cheaper cows will raise won't be worth $2000 either.
