Subject: Boot high Cedars in Central Mo

Mid Mo
What’s the best way to get rid of small cedars in a pasture? Central Mo with high clay soils. Working on fertility but takes time.

Boot high so mowing just clips the tops but base is still there and keeps growing.

Best to cut at ground level and spray stump or better to spray first and cut out the dead? Other options?

Mostly fescue with some white and red clover.
