WC Ohio | Met my wife at work. I had just became agronomy manager and the secretary was on leave for surgery. Was going into harvest and the grain manager that was over a couple locations hired her the fall after she graduated high school to get through harvest. My first thoughts were great a young kid to train that won’t stay. Turned out the secretary that had surgery never retuned and this 18 year old kid had her stuff figured out so I hired her full time. She had several looser come around and never thought about her as more than an employee because I was 10 years her senior.
Not sure exactly when I when wow she is really mature and has her stuff together. When it appeared to be becoming more when she was sick on Friday and I text her like any of my employees the next morning to see how she was doing.
We both left after couple years when things got serious. Turns out both her and leaving the coop were the 2 best decisions I have made to this day. | |
