Wisconsin | There are thousands of barns like this coming down every year in Wisconsin, at least there have been for the last couple decades, not sure how many are left to support that pace.
Until recently I put up "loose" hay with a hay fork, electric powered winch, hay track and diverter that rode on two lower tracks. But I cheated and used a stakhand to dump the stacks in the mow, instead of building loads with a pitchfork and hay loader.
There are thousands of dairies left that fill barns with small bales and elevators, still a lot of work, but handy to feed.
