| After college I wanted to meet a nice girl so at someone's suggestion I started to go to the YWCA singles dance in Davenport. I started in 1963 by the summer of 1965 I was disillusioned as I had met no likely candidates. In September I decided I would go one more time and guess what there were two likely looking young ladies there that night, one kind of tried to hog my attention. The next week I went back and the other one was there again and we started clicking. This was the start of a 56 year marriage. Unfortunately my wife died after the 56 years and now I am finding myself very lonely.
Enjoy your spouse while they are with you, sometimes it ends way too soon.
