Here is our actual experience. I’ve planted soybeans “early” now for going on 20 years. It’s to the point I feel the need to go earlier.The early planted always wins no matter what kind of August rains we receive. I’ll probably get roasted for saying this but between planting early , high fertility, and pushing the crop we get upset if they don’t make 75-80. And no , not many of our acres are flat black and beautiful.
