State Farm local told me any loss was covered. I explicitly ask about spoilage and he reassured even that. I have never had spoilage so I did not pursue. I do not do a store and ignore. Watch it close and have temp cables. It may only sit full for 3 months then I slowly start chipping away at moving it. But I think if I remember a 30k bu bin of 6$ corn was $400 for a 5-6 min policy.
The cold climate of the north is working for me. I would probably not be batting so well if I kept a full bin into late spring.
