nc ks | Government picking winners and losers never ends well.
Government being a safety net or charity for the less fortunate doesn't end well. People of faith need to be much better at this so government doesn't have to fail miserably and make things worse. Free without accountability is one of the worst things you can do for every human being.
You like to disparage those who's ancestors worked their butts off but don't seem to disparage those who's ancestors didn't do squat and haven't tried to change their lot. And btw, money doesn't buy happiness. If money by dna is taken for granted and work ethic and smarts are not transferred, that money doesn't carry very many generations. Some of the most unhappy, lost, and broke people had dna money.
The world isn't perfect. I would like for every unfortunate person to have a hand up and restored. Trouble is, that isn't reality. Government help hurts more than it helps almost always. I don't have a relistic workable solution, so what we have will have to keep people from dieing. It sure doesn't help them to 'live' in most cases. Just existence seems to be ok for a lot of people. | |
