| How funny. I went to a monthly agronomy meeting at college. There were a few kids that I knew from college classes that she was talking to before the meeting. She said something about a pretty red pickup. I thought that had to be me as no one else had a red pickup. I said that is my pickup. She said no it is not. After the meeting we walked out to her car. My PU was two cars behind hers. She said that is the pickup she was talking about. I said that is my pickup. She said no it is not. I unlocked the PU and started it. She got in her car and drove off.
One time she was asking about marriage. I said that I would not get married until I graduated college. I took an extra semester at college because I needed 3 more hours. She graduated early with that last semester. Dec '81. She took 3.5 years to graduate and I took 4.5 years. We got married 6 months later.
By marrying her I did not know the journey that I was going on. I think back sometimes and wonder if I had known of that journey would I have married her. I can truthfully say that I would still ask her to get married.
