nw NC | Internet... Match.com. I was age 52, she age 52. Started corresponding in Feb. 2004. Met in person a month later half-way between where we each lived, me here on the farm and she in a big city. We continued corresponding daily by e-mail and then more by telephone. We started driving the 100 miles distance between us to visit as often as possible. We were both smitten with each other and we knew it was meant to be. In May we decided we wanted to spend rest of our lives together, so we made plans to marry on September 25th that year ( 2004). I finished chopping silage that morning. Been married 20 and a half years now... very happy years I might add. Can a city woman transition to farm life? She did and she chronicled it in the book she wrote (below) .
