Safety first (break the bead and shove some blocks in between tire bead and rim), but - as some others have indicated, they take on more liability with their lives then others. At some point, luck runs out and then danger is there to fill the spot. As someone above indicated, the pressure build up from heat and air will cause the explosion, beak the bead, wedge the tire open so you take away any chance of pressure build up and the tire/rim can breath. Taking just the valve stem out will not allow the tire / rim to breath and pressures can build more then allowed to escape . . . |
