Correct, most any planter , heck a worn out planter , would do a decent job at 4.0-4.5 mph in a smooth conventional seed bed. Speed up , conservation tillage, no-till, cover crops, etc the new technology really shines. We have the majority of the precision upgrades on both planters. Worth every penny to us.
