In all seriousness. Just do it safely and remove the tire first so we don't have to hear about something bad happening in the news.

I don't think it needs an ignition source and it doesn't need oxygen but when the chemical reaction pressure gets high enough the chemicals make an explosive mixture and its own ignition.
Its always fascinated me a bit as I had a good friend that had a tire blow apart on him one-time many years ago. He welded a crack on a rim bead and went in the shop to put the welder cords back and the tire blew the window out of the shop door while he was inside.
