 Pittsburg, Kansas | That is the idea behind my posting it. Not to convince anyone one way or the other. Just that there are differing ideas on the way to proceed.
My particular medical doctor, a fairly young guy that reads quite a bit of research, is not particularly big on cancer screening in general. He thinks it causes some unnecessary procedures. But if there are symptoms indicating the need, he is all for it.
He says he never tries to talk anyone out of a test if they desire one and has no problem ordering it for them, but he doesn't suggest one unless he determines symptoms.
I kind of like his way of thinking, but that's just my personal bias.
