Pouring it over the top of the row I'm not sure what rates would be safe, I know that off to the side a couple inches you can run 28-32%N, 10-34-0, thio.
Been applying close to 30 gallons per acre with my setup and haven't had issues but it is running a Yetter in-between 2X2 system where it squirts the fertilizer into a shallow coulter cut beside the row. I think directly on the row would want to be less or risk burning the seedlings as they come through. I can tell on mine even weeds don't really try to grow on the tiny strip where that coulter ran so does burn a bit until rain dilutes it.
