SE Iowa | I have a 3605 12/23 planter bulk fill and true rate vac meters. Planting corn today and row 10 has had what I assume to be bridging in the meter 15-20 times. It’s possible it’s seed delivery too. Honestly I haven’t done enough investigation. I took the meter apart and it looks fine (I should have just switched it with another row and will do so Monday). If I shook the meter you would hear whatever it is dislodge. Bulk is on 12 and meters around 18 per the book. Plenty of graphite. It seemed to happen whenever I throttled down for an extended period of time to turn around or back into a corner. Running 6mph on the flat it never happened. So what do I need to do? I’ll pull the seed tube and look for some build up from the bulk but since it just cleared every time with a tap of the meter I just kept going but it’s only on row 10!! It’s time for me to figure this out. Help! | |
