Subject: RE: Prostate biopsy and PSA

I was diagnosed with prostrate cancer 20 years ago. Both urologist and oncologist explained all my options including doing nothing and watching. I choose to get the radiation implants. It was a relatively minor procedure and I am doing well 20 years later. A friend and neighbor in his early 60's was never screened for prostate cancer until he started having problems. He died a slow and painful death. My father-in-law and brother-in-law both suffered with prostrate cancer during their later years but died from other causes. Just my observations but I encouraged my son to start psa screening early.
