Some of the issues is this forums culture. Come back in 2 months and everyone will be tearing each other apart over whether or not their crop is too wet/too dry to yield well.

The bigger issue is congress isn't really doing it job. The past several presidents have use executive orders to change things and then the courts fight it out. Rather then laws get passed by congress. Agree or degree one person really shouldn't be able to rise taxes 125% on their own. The fixes to trade and budget should have come through congress but they failed to do anything.

I'm not worried about agriculture. If the world losses some trust in the US and the currency weakens we will export like crazy. We lost the wheat market to Russia and the soybean market is going to South America. A lot of that is the strong dollar. Over all there could be some pain in the middle but long term the world has put to much trust in the US giving us low rates and cheap goods. So now we have an artificial high standard of living. One day that would end, if it's now than so be it.
