| “Illegal” Mennonites is so stupid. The vast majority of Mennonites and Amish would have deeper American roots than 99% of everyone else living in the United States today. Look at the millions of Mexicans and Easterners that have poured in over the last 4 years. This one poster dude no idea who he is but he seems to be infested with hate towards the German Mennonites. They have come over from Mexico in recent years and would be the exception in terms of legal “conservative” groups. That is the group he is talking about and while I do believe they have a pretty good number out in west Texas, the number of German Mennonites would be tiny compared to the overall total population of Amish/Mennonite inside the US. As far as legitimate ID goes, not sure on the Amish but Mennonites generally view that the same as everyone else. It would take stupid to be legal but yet not have legal ID. | |
