I might be the odd man out, but I actually prefer stale seed bed. Seems like it just plants so much nicer. Better furrow structure and seed to soil contact, better moisture retention, and a more uniform seed environment. We don't usually get a lot of opportunity to plant stale seed bed anymore, but its nice when we do.
