Southeast Colorado | Thanks for hanging in there with me and digging into it more. I realize I'm from a poorer part of the country........so that's perhaps why it looks to be a lot more. However, a quick search shows that SNAP is just the supplemental food part...........and that other assistance is also dispensed via EBT cards. My daughter also used to work at the place that gave those EBT cards out...........so that factors into my thoughts.
When it comes to the Defense budget..........I agree that a huge part of that spending definitely trickles back into the economy. I've got two brothers and multiple family members with pretty high paying jobs directly related to that industry.
