A proposed limitation on the largest stoves isn't a ban on gas stoves. It also would have limited the availability of electric ranges of the same BTU range. Did you forget to mention that or just not know because you did no research?

Limitation are not bans. That's like saying the national highway transportation safety administration banned you from owning a car without airbags. You can still own one keep the one you have or buy one privately but the new ones made need to meet limited thresholds like having an airbag.
