SOIL | CNH Monitors are a mess when it comes to boundary and line management when compared to about anything else out there.
Anyway, I have my Deere receiver on the right side of the 4-Wheeler and tape a pipe on the front with 2 lines on it. First is 2 feet out so I know where the line is set, then the end of the pipe is 4 out, and that's where the end of my planter will land, so it doesn't hit anything. Most will have their line where the tire is, but I don't like doing that since several of my fields have steep drops at the edge, and am not interested in flipping the 4-wheeler.
After that, I would take the recorded boundaries to Ops Center or SMS and fix the corners or if I had to avoid a mud hole or something, but with the new autonomy rules, that's not an option anymore. I have a feeling an autonomous machine may be closer to my operation than anyone will admit.
Last note of caution, make sure you're using the same RTK source to record that you plan to use for the foreseeable future. If you use a dealer network and they shut down and encourage you to use another source, then all your lines are useless.
CORS, home built networks that you plan to keep a long time, DigiFarm, all should be fine.
