South Central, Minnesota | I like to plant early but last year both the later planted corn and beans beat the early by pretty significant numbers, about 2 week difference in dates, hard for the north guys to take advice from southern farmers who say* hammer down, just plant etc—-, pretty different up here
Those insurance dates are based off history frost data they’re not just made up
