Cleveland, MS. Own small farm near Booneville, MS | Almost every year there is a nest in some of the most inhospitable areas of the church lawn. I always try to leave the area alone until the chicks are out of the nest. Those birds have to be some of the stupidest animals on the planet. Build nests on the ground where any predator can easily get the eggs or chicks. Have to really be watching or you will step in the nest before you can find it. |
