I don't think that the tariff's are as big a story as what China is embargoing on the U.S. Specifically Rare Earths. That could be a much bigger deal but will take a little while to play out. I also wonder if China won't up it's belligerence and try to somehow prevent shipment of chips and critical electronics from Taiwan. This encourages, rather than discourages them from escalating that too, IMHO.
