Holland, Indiana (SW IN) | Had this Killdeere build a nest 3' from my concrete drive
Spent lots of time over the years looking for nests when planting NT
Always tried to lift over the nest ---
Comment either "you scared me" when the bird would fly right at me
OR if the bird was faking broken wing "I believe you"
24-28 days to hatch ---one month little birds spend in nest
Hope they make it
