Not sure if it has gained any traction but have been rumors of raising the tax rates for the wealthy sometime down the road. Right now they are able to bring the taxable income they pay on down quite a bit so would have to figure out a way around that.
Raise the tax rate too high and they might just move to a different country which defeats the whole purpose.
