E.Central MN | I think the stock market tanking was making the Republicans in Congress nervous. Some were even starting to question if the huge tax cuts for the wealthy were a good idea. I think that's why Trump put a hold on the tariffs. While I think China and the rest of the world's govt leaders are considering new arrangements because of Trump's bullying tactics, I doubt they could have reached such a collective agreement that quickly. I also doubt the ability of Trump's Cabinet officials to reach such a conclusion that quickly and then get Trump to back down in that short amount of time. | |
