You stir it in dry is how I do it and then you ice the cake.... sugar free does not taste good when you mix it in and sometimes reacts with the frozen topping.... another really good topping is to take cool whip and add a little cream de menthe to it and ice the cake.... reallly good if you like mint... the trick is that the cake has to stay in the fridge....

i used to make a grasshopper cake..
1 vanilla cake mix -mixed as directed
add 1 tablespoon cream de menthe to the cake mix and bake in a 9x13 pan as directed.

cool the cake.... poke some holes in the cake with a wooden spoon handle and top with one can of Hersheys choclate ( like you put on top ice cream... has the brown lable on it) put in the fridge for an hour then ice with 1 container cool whip with 1 to 2 teaspoons cream de menthe in it... this cake will not be aorund long trust me....
