Malta, Illinois | What did he win? He paused the tariffs for 90 days. I haven't seen any reports of huge concessions by countries that were being tariffed. The tariffs were not in play long enough to bring about the kind of victory you are dreaming of. Hopefully something good comes of it but the pause is due to pressure brought to bear by big money people who were getting crushed in the markets. Trump even kind of alluded to this in one of his comments. 90 days from now we could be right back to square one on this whole deal. | |
