ne MD | Similar thing done to my leg, a long time ago. Much better than having veins stripped out. They used laser (EVLT)to close mine though, I think the result is the same. I am glad it was done. I still have occasional problems with perforator veins, and other veins around my ankle. One of the veins also opened up again in one section. I still have ulcers on both sides of my ankle - not fun to deal with. I think the vascular surgeons at University of Maryland Medical Center know me by name by now. | |
