Tuscola, IL | I am familiar with the STMM as that’s how we’re monitoring the 800 currently. Would likely move it over to the new planter and change the sensors over. I’ve installed some intricate AgLeader systems on kinze planters but all have been ground drive. Which I mistakenly assumed this 955 was until I got to looking closely. I’m not opposed to using the Case IH display. I’m not even opposed to taking the 955 back to ground drive. But if there is a way to run the seed drive motors via the incommand I think that’s the ultimate solution.
I did read a bulletin from AgLeader about the seed module not doing auto section control. Which reinforces what the two of you have said. I think in the end the biggest challenge will be getting the hydraulic valving and pwm solenoids to work with the AgLeader controllers and getting them the feedback they need to operate. Worst case scenario I may have to add a different hydraulic valve to the equation. Which isn’t the end of the world. | |
