nc ks | What were the guys looking at when they were buying the cattle? I get betting on the come. Did it for years before increasing the cow herd and feeding only my own instead of buying an extra 800 head betting on the come. I had some rough winters that didn't pay well or at all. I don't remember getting out over my ski's and blaming someone else though. I do remember refinancing the original loan because the bigger cattle didn't cover it and I ate the feed, so to say. This is nothing new. Feeding cattle is a hero or zero endeavor more times than a guy would like. A guy needs to come to terms with that before entering. | |
