Latimer Iowa | The constant waffling back and forth by the administration makes it very “enjoyable” to be building a mill to move farmers further down the supply chain and become food producers instead of commodity peasants. We are importing 15M in equipment that is NOT available in the US because everyone plans on a stable global supply chain.
The 3-5M swing in project cost depending on what side of the bed someone wakes up on severely stresses the ability to build anything.
Not to mention the effect it has on investor confidence….
Or access to capital….
Or permitting approvals from USDA and EPA….
At least the sun is out and I should finish oat planting today.
