I actually work in research and know the failure rate of FDA approved drugs after many, many years of clinical trials and millions spent. But yet the few that do get approved, consumers expect that technology and drug investment risk to be a break even deal so we end users don't pay much. It's a risk vs reward world we live in.
Just as being discussed in NAT now, crude oil is down significantly but at the pump is what? Drill baby drill talk doesn't fill pockets of wealth.......you need to look all around, not just what appeals to your political affiliation its harmful for your well being. $60 crude nobody is drill baby drilling...why? No $ to be made, they'll walk away and utlize or slow roll what they have to inflate prices.
