| Mom and Dad bought a brand new Sear Kenmore stove in 2009. It cost $770, or there abouts. It just quit. They bought a brand new Maytag or Whirlpool(not sure) stove. It cost $780. The number one market for Buick, has been China. Manufacturing in China was a stepping stone to the rest of Asia for U.S. companies. China has supported the U.S. grain markets for the last 30 years. Trading with China hasn't been all good, or all bad. What was bad was U.S. companies sending jobs overseas, shuttering plants, not because U.S. plants weren't profitable, but because they could "enhance shareholder value" by sending manufacturing to China. You're mad at the wrong people. |
