In the 80's, you could buy a 1978 4440 for almost exactly what it cost new. Machinery prices were actually pretty strong.
The 80's, started in the 70's, with high land prices and lot's of optimism and the "young tigers" and all that.
The only real difference we have right now is that, so far, the Govt is propping us up. If that stops.........
