If China only holds .8% of the pot, what is the worst case scenario here? I would guess the fed etal would and will be buyers of most all of it, I could be wrong .
Have a source for the .8% number ?
Places I check have it at 2% at the end of 2023. They have been reducing their holdings but maybe with the debt increasing their % has gone down that much.
But even a couple ticks of rate increases is going to be hard to swallow. |
