I use hrww, and hairy vetch. I don't care for rye in front of corn. I like the idea of vetch but it never gets enough growth here to really even see it, so probably going to use hrww by itself going forward. Tama county iowa here. I only do this on one farm and it's strictly for erosion control, and this is what works for me ahead of corn.
